FAQs

  • After many years of working with insurance companies, I have made a decision to go out of network for many reasons.  Insurance companies have access to your medical records and can dictate how your treatment is being conducted and for how long. Therefore, in order to protect my client's privacy as well as being able to create a more tailored treatment for each individual, I am an out-of-network provider.  If you wish, I am able to provide a supper bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

  • When conducting sessions vertically I use a HIPAA-compliant secure platform.  Many people choose a virtual session for convenience and privacy considerations.  According to the research, vertical or Telehealth sessions are just as effective as in-person therapy.

  • That's one of the first things people ask me when they first meet me.  It's Russian.  I've lived in the US since I was 18 years old.
